pattern and texture- black and white
My best photo is the first one of the hose. The front loops of those hose with water droplets on it are in focus and the rest of the hose is looped around criss crossed and not in focus. I took this photo pretty close to the subject because the water droplets were really small and I wanted to incorporate them into the photo. Most of my photos were straight on like the one of the hose, the fence, the plants, and the window. The photo of the chain hanging on the window and the fire alarm were taken from below and facing up. All of the photographs I took were horizontal. The photo of the hose doesn't really follow the rule of thirds. The front section of the hose thats in focus is in the center but it is at an angle so it looks better. This photo is an example of pattern because of the criss crossing pattern on the hose itself. The texture in the photo is the drops of water hanging from the hose. I think the photo of the hose is the most properly exposed of my photos. There is natural light coming from the left and it still looks good even though I darkened it a little in Photoshop.
